Earlier this year I connected with a couple of other local bloggers here in Birmingham, who quickly became friends and we got to talking about the lack of networking for us in the Magic City. In just a couple of hours at O'Henry's on a Sunday afternoon, we decided to create a network where bloggers in the area can connect. After a couple of weeks of working on all the different pieces with Meredith from Floral Frocks and Beth from bethcakes, the Birmingham Bloggers site went live on April 4. Slowly but surely local bloggers have started to join us and we're really excited about the future of the network. If you're a blogger in Birmingham [or nearby], join us--we'd love to have you!
