My Thoughts:
I had really high hopes for this book, especially after reading Gone Girl and Sharp Objects--both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Sadly, this one was not as enjoyable. Though it may just be my personal opinion, this one seemed a lot darker than the others. The scenes that are written in this book are described so vividly that it got a bit gruesome for my taste. I gave it three stars on Goodreads.
