How He Proposed

I realized recently that I mention being a engaged here, but haven't actually shared how we got engaged. So...here goes! Over the summer, Mississippi State's baseball team went to the championship game of the College World Series, but before that they hosted their first Regional in 10 years. Being both baseball in general and Mississippi State fans, we drove over to Starkville on a Saturday (June 1) to catch one of the later games and see some of our friends and family. Earlier that morning we ran the Color Me Rad 5k in Birmingham. We always love to walk through around the gorgeous campus when we go to Starkville. So, late for the game as we were, we parked and walked through campus toward Dudy Noble Field. We got to the center of the Drill Field, where he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. After the "yes, of course" and frantically calling my family and best friend, we walked on to the game to watch our Bulldogs win!
